Memo 3

Hello all, and thanks mom for my last post we shall call that a "mommy memo."

I will keep this short as the internet is pretty slow here and I do not have an amazing amount of time.

Madagascar is gorgeous.. it is unlike Niger in so many ways and although I do miss Niger dearly I think I will def. be able to enjoy my next two years here in Mad Land.

Currently I am still in training, but the end is near which is extremely nice. On the 26th of this month I will again be traveling to Tana, and will be swearing in as a PCV (volunteer) rather than just being a PCT (Trainee). Then the first week of Feb. I will be moving to Antaretra which is near Ranomafana (50k) and Infandiana(23k)... my banking town (aka mail, banking, internet, big city life) will be 2 hrs away in Mananjary (89k)... my house is "On the main road to the Southeast region, the site is surronded by mountains I the rain forest. Hot and humid. 23KM East of the district of Ifanadiana on the way to Irondro." Aka I live in the rainforest in a 2 room house.. my latrine is right out back by my banana trees.. i have a bamboo fenced yard and can get water near my house.. there is a bridge right by me and yeah.. its going to rock!

We went to see Lemurs over christmas and I saw the biggest lemur currently living that does not live in captivity... so yay! look up Gidros!

Well crap my computer is going to die so much love from Mad Land.. call me at int code and then 261341890623... i am 9 hrs later than ks and go to bed at 8pm (i awake at 5 am).

-quick sappy moment-

I miss all of you back home and although peace corps has proved to be nothing like I expected I feel this is still what I have always dreamed about and am extremely happy to be here.. :D love and kisses bye
